Skerpa BV is the data controller for personal data collected through this website (skerpa.ai).

We collect personal data in the following ways:

• Contact & demo requests: name, email address, and any message you send us via our contact form or by emailing hello@skerpa.ai.
• Analytics data: anonymised usage data collected via Google Analytics 4 (page views, session duration, referral source, device type). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
• Cookies: see the Cookie Policy section below.

We do not collect sensitive personal data and we do not sell your data to third parties.

• Legitimate interest: responding to demo requests and business enquiries.
• Consent: analytics and non-essential cookies, collected through the cookie consent banner. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legal obligation: retaining records as required under Belgian and EU law.

We use Google Tag Manager to load and manage the tags on our website, and Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use it. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including pages visited, time spent, and referral source. We have configured Google Analytics with IP anonymisation enabled.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2: until you make a choice in our cookie banner, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied, and no analytics or marketing cookies are placed. Tags only load with cookies once you grant the matching consent, and your choice is respected on return visits.

Google may transfer this data to servers in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

• Contact enquiries: retained for up to 2 years from last contact, then deleted.
• Analytics data: retained for 14 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted.
• Cookie consent records: retained for 12 months, then reset.

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the right to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to processing
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing)

We use the following third-party services that may process personal data:

• Google Tag Manager: tag management and delivery (loads tags per your consent)
• Google Analytics: website analytics (see above)
• Resend: transactional email delivery (contact form & pilot applications)
• Cloudflare Turnstile: spam protection on forms (no personal data stored)

We do not use advertising networks or sell data to data brokers.

Skerpa.ai is served over HTTPS. Our infrastructure is hosted on Hetzner Cloud (EU region). We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
